1988 Suzuki Samurai 4×4.
This Suzuki has been a project of mine for the past few years. Comes with a removable tow bar and towing lights that mount to the spare tire. It has a new clutch, pressure plate, through out and pilot bearings and fly wheel. The tires only have about 200 miles on them and the battery is about 2 years old.
I have the back seat pulled out but have it and also have extra spare parts and a repair manual that go with it too. The 4 wheel drive works fine. It has a manual 5 speed transmission with manual 4 wheel drive shifter for 4 wheel high and low speed and manual lock in and out front hubs. It has not been abused, stump jumped or mudded in but has scratches, dents and dings. It has an oil leak coming from the front of engine. Could be oil pan gasket or front seal but not sure. I cut the door hinges and put on pull apart door straps so the doors can be removed easily. The cargo carrier comes with it and fits a 2″ towing receiver.
It has air conditioning and has all the components still in place compressor, evaporator, condenser. I just haven’t tried to get it working. The heater works fine. It has a Sony radio with CD player and remote. The CD player works fine but radio needs attention. I think it may be the antenna but not sure. The speedometer, dash lights and other gauges works fine. The odometer shows 35,600. I’m not sure if it has rolled over or not.
It also has a new top with tinted windows. The top un-snaps and folds down to make a convertible or can be removed and stored pretty easily.
With the tow bar this would be a great 4×4 vehicle to tow to a hunting club or to ride in the woods.
