1991 SUZUKI SAMURAI SOFT TOP. 68K original miles. I purchased this Samurai in 2008. It had @48K miles on it then. Used it to pull a tiny mowing trailer, once a week, for ten years. Since that time, it’s been in my garage, rarely driven. Vehicle had some hail damage on the hood and windshield when I bought it. Repaired that and replaced the windshield in 2012. NOTICE: Look at the paint on the hood vs the body! NOT an exact match. Repair has held well since then. Body paint is pretty darn good for a ‘91. Passenger front bumper support had been damaged by a previous minor crash and the original bumper never looked great. I replaced the bumper with a super nice ZOR heavy duty tube bumper. You’ll notice the tiny little winch. I put it on as a little humor. (Small SUV-Small winch) Zuk’s motors aren’t known for real power so I didn’t need a 100lb winch dragging my acceleration into the dumps. It does work, however. NEVER used it off road. FWD works as it should. We do get snow here. Altered the front grill. New Low Range Off Road tube doors and I have the full doors. Good upholstery and glass in those.
Both Bikini and Full tops. Nice Front & Back Orange and Black seat covers from Wet Okole. (Similar to diving suit Neoprene) Not Cheap! Original covers are not in great shape. Factory carpet front to back. Great condition for a ‘91. Heal wear near brake and accelerator pedals. Probably could use a brake job, but no squealing, grinding, or pulling. Passed TX brake inspection in Jan 2023. Starts and runs great. IT DOES HAVE THE SAMURAI CLICKY STARTER SYNDROME! Most of them have it. Practically built in. I include the $65 fix. Had surgery and haven’t been able to install that or the distributor O-Rings (included). Most have that distributor oil leak with any miles at all. Wrangler P235-75R-15 tires have MAYBE 100 miles on ‘em. Get a new spare! Mine holds air, but I THINK this one is original to the vehicle. Chrome wheels are new. NO A/C! Looks like it was set up for it. Has the controls and inside unit, but no compressor or “radiator”. This Zuk has never left me stranded. Remember, It is a ‘91. It’s not a ground up re-model. Just a very nice ‘91 that’s had some good care and a few nice upgrades. Gets lots of looks and comments. No trades, please. I attend all text drives.
