88 Suzuki Samurai 1.3l 4 cyl engine 5 speed. It runs and drives and the 4×4 works. It is like a small wrangler. Pretty good fuel economy, I go back and forth to work for about a week on 10-15$ (14-20 miles a day, 5 days a week)

clutch set with throwout bearing & return spring,
pinion seal on the rear end,
battery,
fuel pump & filters,
air filter (k&n or spectre, I forget),
big meaty tires,
spark plugs,
wiper blades,
I have the DIY repair book on it, too.
It has the hole cut for snorkel attachment and I have birdcages from the previous owner for an ‘easy’ lift. I thought it sat high enough so never bothered and I’m not sure what all is needed.
It has body rust, over 380k miles, the soft top is beat up, is noisy starting at about 50mph, and smokes a bit when accelerating- but it starts up every time and goes through snow, ice, mud, high water, and sunshine. It is a Samurai, they are all old and beat up and I’ve seen worse for more.
I’d prefer to trade since I have so much invested but if you’ll give me what I have in it I’ll sell it. I paid 1,600 for it, 150 for delivery, 130 on a battery, ~65 on the fuel pump and filters, 500 on tires, and ~420 on the clutch work so I have about 3,100 in it, asking 3,000.
I want something a little bigger with a little more power. The Samurai is great on the back roads and in town, not so much on the highway. I would prefer a jeep Cherokee, f150, or small block Chevy. 4×4 trades only, I would prefer an extended cab if it is a truck. I can add some cash on top if needed if it is worth it and what I am looking for.
