It’s getting harder and harder to find a original paint, mostly stock / unmodified 1988 Suzuki Samurai (sammy), 4×4 with it’s original 1.3 liter four cylinder gas engine and 5 speed manual transmission.
I have a car fax (dated 10/19/20) and some service records starting from 1993! Including the water pump, timing belt and pulley 2/2017 @ 126,802 miles.
All factory / OEM except for the following;
+ 3″ inch Rancho Lift Kit that included replacement leaf springs. (Shocks are getting do for replacement. Due to age)
+ 15 x 7 chrome steel rims with four low mile Goodyear Wrangler LT 235/75-15 tires. (They still have the little tire “nubs” on the sidewalls!)
+ New never been on the ground, 215/70R15 Yokohama Geolander A/T mounted on OEM 15 x 5.5 steel rim. (I was planning on going back to this OEM set-up.)
+ Heavy Duty Napa Battery from 1/2021.
+ Pair of KC driving lights purchased and professionally installed 5/2019.
+ Webber Carburetor with adapter for stock / OEM air cleaner assy. Control box for original carb. has been properly removed, along with the related wiring and plugs from under the hood.
+ Interior seats have been replaced with fully functional buckets seats on stock OEM seat sliders. NO BACK SEAT!
+ AM/FM CD player with amp/bass speaker mounted under drivers seat.
+ White Bestop soft top in good condition.
+ I bought a black Bestop Bikini top, October 2022. I hardly used this past summer and it’s included.
+ At the same time, I got the bikini top (10/22). I inslalled replacement ABS Interior Front Door Panels.
+ Tune up (Cap, rotor, spark plugs & plug wires), oil & air filters and ALL the fluids / oils were changed Oct. 2022.
+ I also added a 5lbs. Fire extinguisher & a Shovel. Its a forest service requirement during dry summer months, when on back forestry roads.
+ Rare PAPER factory shop manual included.
Clean Oregon Title in my name.
Has tags until 12/23. But, I’m keeping the Oregon Pacific Wonderland plates. (Plates have been on my past cars) Only negative, is a oil leak from the front crank seal. (I’ve maintained proper oil level. It’s never been run low) I’ve lowered my selling price from $8500 to only $8000 to reflect this needed (approximately 4 hours) repair.
