1988.5 Suzuki Samurai – fuel injected 1.6L motor and 4 spd automatic transmission taken from 1997 Sidekick roll-over with 36K original miles.
76K miles on odometer reflects actual miles on engine transmission and transfer case. Body and chassis have 100k more.
This is one of only three Sammies I know of with a 4 speed automatic transmission. Developed by me and my PetroWorks buddy Gary. Everything professionally installed by PetroWorks in So California at a cost of over $18K to me for parts and labor. Always driven in the south until recently so very clean. PetroWorks GSR2 transfer case for 2WD Low Range for less strain on the driveline. I’ll explain… you can drive with one wheel, two wheels or 4 wheels in low or hi range. ARB air locker in rear with on-board ARB compressor. Detroit Easy Locker in front for easier steering than air lockers. 2-piece hardtop with tinted windows and locking rear hatch door. I am the inventor of MudBusters Fender Flares for Suzuki Samurais. I used this car to develop the flares and show them at off-road shows.
