I will start this post with a very sincere statement, I know what the Samurai is worth, and it will only go to someone with capable hands. I love this toy monster truck. I’ve owned the Samurai for 8.5 years, since I was 17, and done every bit of work myself. She’s an absolute monster of a ride that you could easily make usable during an EMP.

It comes with a 1/4 bikini top, a 1/2 safari top, a full new soft top, and the pictured fiberglass removable shell. The hard top is new to me, and I haven’t wired up the kcs on top. I replaced the clamps, shocks, and seals for the hard top this summer. It also has removable doors, and a set of homemade half doors that come with the sale. It has diamond plate panels for every interior panel including both sets of doors. You can also rock no top or doors, so the possibilities are literally endless for what scenario you might be in. Rain or shine, wind, snow, or sand, she’s got you covered (or not!)

I’ve recently taken her to Jerome, on a Javelina hunt, and we crossed the entirety of Mingus mountain range in an a day of scouting, she did f***ing phenomenally. She’s a daily driver for me when my other ride is acting up or being worked on (always)

I recently replaced the entire fuel system. The fuel pump failed, I replaced it, and the AutoZone part I had purchased was defective. I literally replaced everything in the fuel system and still had problems, turns out the ‘new’ fuel pump failed due to defects, and was causing me to sputter at half tank. Due to this, she’s got a new tank, filter, pump, lines, and freshly cleaned carb, and the issue is fixed. She’s got a huge battery, an upgraded radiator, and a Weber carburetor. I keep up on fluids religiously, I worked for Honda here in town for 3 years.

I blew the head gasket in 2017 coming up the mountain from Tucson. My father and I meticulously rebuilt the engine from block up at that point in time.

When I took the old doors apart to make the half doors, I kept all the hardware/ window regulators/ etc. She has upgraded LED headlights.

The rear seat needs to be reupholstered.

Someone hit and ran me about a year ago and there’s minimal damage to the passenger front fender and grille.

The driver interior door handle broke recently, and I haven’t had the time to fix it yet. Also, it’s driver window also feels like it is off guides.

The spare is not the correct size. I’ve never been put in a position to use it. Tires have 80% tread.
