This is a 1987 Suzuki Samurai tin top that has had a lot of new metal put into it. New front fenders, etc.
It has a 1.6 l 16v 1995 Geo Tracker/Suzuki Sidekick engine, auto transmission and just the cluster complete moved into this vehicle. It isn’t perfect. They stopped making perfect about 30 years ago lol.
I changed the ATF filter and fluid.
When I started it up today and put it into 2wd reverse (has the standard locking hubs for 4wd) and I started backing up and I noticed resistance. I thought, did the brakes lock up in the back and then it was free. I backed up over the 6×6 block of wood that was chocked behind it lol.
The engine fires right up, it has a new radiator, the entire exhaust system is close to new, has a 105 amp alternator and a new starter installed.
Has ARB Old Man EMU springs with the same 100 miles.
I’m sure they calipers have about 100 miles of use… this is another of my builds that just got out of control. It was supposed to be my wife’s (thus the auto)
