Freshly rebuilt motor, had the head rebuilt and the block cleaned and honed locally at Moffitt machine in Fayetteville
New clutch, all new belts and seals, water & oil pumps, transmission sensors and tires, (235/75R15 Goodyear Wranglers) new flange seals on the differentials and transmission output shaft seal, spark plugs, wires… Just about everything has been rebuilt. The only thing it could use is a coat of paint, if you care about such things.
Bought this vehicle as a project but I’m moving soon and not looking to go through the hassle of towing it across country, especially since I don’t see myself wheeling it in the next couple of years. I’m into it for over $6500 at this point, the asking price is more than fair, don’t waste my time.
I’ve owned two of these great little 4x4s; they’re not powerful, but they weigh nothing, parts are relatively cheap and the’ll go anywhere. I was hoping to make a Uwharrie trip this summer to get some good photos but ran out of time.
I’ve got hundreds of photos of the engine break down and rebuild as well as the vehicle evolution from when I purchased it. Short timeline, I leave next week. If the add is up I still have it.
