I used a 1.6 turbo diesel out of a VW Golf, but before installing it with an acme adapters kit, I rebuilt the engine with new bearings and had the block sent out for machining. It’s a strong engine. 475+ psi on all cylinders. Every component was replaced with something re manufactured or new. This thing even has ARP head studs to handle the boost. The injector pump was build by Giles Performance Diesel a respected shop out of Canada and is tuned for 20 psi.

In the last couple years I have driven it nearly every weekend to run errands. rain or snow. I estimate roughly 1500 miles are on the engine based on how many times I have filled the tank.

The alternator, glow plugs, starter electric fans ect are all new. but there is no instrument cluster. I have one but it is not installed. It would be included in the box of parts. There is too many mods to mention on here, a quick phone call would be easier.

At the moment I have a blown up rear U joint, so I took out the rear driveshaft and am able to drive it front wheel drive. I have replacement u joints already but the yolk that houses them was damaged and I haven’t purchased a replacement yet.

At my asking price i will be taking a loss so please, reasonable offers only, i have nearly 4500 in the engine alone. volkswagen enthusiasts have asked for the engine but i do not want to part the rig out.
