I built this vehicle for my wife and I to go exploring. My concerns were capability and reliability during the build. I started by replacing the timing belt and water pump, clutch fan, distributor cap, plugs and wires etc.

I rebuilt the front and rear axles completely. I installed Zuks off-road my side carb kit. I installed a rear axle traction/anti wrap kit, ARB air locker on the rear with the upgraded steel braided airline. I also installed an ARB air compressor. Also I installed ZUKS off-road suspension seat kit.

I put on new Goodyear Wrangler MTR with kevlar tires and mounted them on steel wheels.
Upgraded the steering to power steering.Also added a Smittybilt wench 9.5k lbs.
Old man emu springs all 4. That is just off the top of my head.

My family and I have been building and enjoying off road vehicles for many years. This is by far the most capable go anywhere vehicle we have ever had.The funny thing is it turned into a rescue vehicle for my friends who had gotten into situations they shouldn’t have.
I have invested more than the asking price just in upgrades. A bonus to this vehicle is it sips gas.
