FOR SALE: 1986 Suzuki Samurai Tin Top.
Rare to see in such great condition, this Samurai is a perfect off-roader, grocery-getter, or neighborhood cruiser as-is. Underwent full service one year ago at East Hill Automotive, with new radiator and hoses installed, new fluids, and a clean bill of health. The previous owner installed the popular G16KV 1.6L motor from the 1996 Geo Tracker, with more power and expansive aftermarket and parts support. Fuel injected, headers installed for a great sound, and power sent through a 5-speed manual transmission. No powertrain or drivetrain issues at all. New rear end installed in 2017, this car should not need any major work for years to come.
On the exterior, a venting sunroof was added by the previous owner. No problems with it whatsoever, no leaks and no extra noise when closed. Off-road fender flares installed, along with aftermarket wheels wrapped in 31” tires. The original fender flares and original wheels are included in the sale.
The only issues with the car are minor wear and tear on the original cloth interior, stereo currently does not work (suspected easy wiring or fuse fix), and the blower motor for the heat/fan needs replacing.
