Ideal hunting jeep or RV tow vehicle. 87200 original miles, many of them in tow. Four-wheel-drive. New tie rods and drag link. Tires and battery are good. Runs very well. Interior is OK. 6000-pound winch. Disk brakes front, drums rear. 5-speed transmission. Transfer case. Manual hubs. Roll bar. Very capable off-road. It’s cozy, not cushy. Short wheelbase, solid axles, big tires, leaf springs – i.e., it’s not a smooth-rider. The AC system is a fan on the dash. The power steering system is a knob on the steering wheel. No radio. (It has a terrific heater, and an engine heater, and a solar trickle-charger to keep the battery up when it’s stored.) It weighs 2000 pounds, so you can tow it with any pickup, SUV, or big sedan. A towed-vehicle brake controller is not required (except in two or three faraway states) for a 2000-pound tow vehicle. Tow bar and tow lights included. Repair manuals and some spare parts included. If you’re looking for something inexpensive that will take you to the back-of-beyond (and back), or serve you as a reliable RV toad, this might be the vehicle for you.
