Up for Auction in Bend, Oregon is this 1986 Suzuki Samurai JX.  This is an excellent example of a very original Samurai in perfect working order.

Our Summary

Here is your chance at a clean mostly original Samurai in good running order.  The exterior shows some normal wear for the year but graphics, handles, markers and other key exterior features are intact.  There is some damage on the front passenger quarter panel and some wear on the B pillars along with some sagging on the passenger side of the rear bumper.  What really sets this Samurai apart is the super clean interior.  No rips or tears, the pictures really speak for themselves in this regard.  This Samurai also comes with a back seat and a brand new soft top.  Most importantly, this is a rust free rig, having spent its entire life in Southern California.

It currently holds an Oregon title with Oregon plates – however it was originally purchased by the current owner when he was living in the San Fernando valley in Southern California.  It was purchased by him in April 2025 and used lightly driving around beach towns putting maybe 700-900 miles on it.  Since then only typical maintenance like oil changes have been performed.  One important item of note (particularly for CA buyers) is that its always passed smog.

This is a samurai that is in excellent no issues at all. Very original, everything on it works!

It’s been in Southern California is whole life – passed smog and all emissions while I had it in town. Reach out to me for interior photos. It is flawless, no rips or tears. All original.

Currently holds an Oregon title now with Oregon plates. I have the white OEM wheels on there.
